Other than the new color schemes, the units were matched with a 2200mAh battery, upping the retail price to ¥19,800 (Approx. $223 USD) while for ¥24,800 (Approx. $279 USD), they release a 4GB Memory Stick PRO Duo (Mark2), PSP pouch, wrist strap and cloth bundle. There is no word on a North America or European release.

Today we came across these new Louis Vuitton low top sneakers and they are probably the nicest we have seen so far from the French luxury brand. Subtle tonal embossed branding, a nice silhouette, the zipper closure - all in all a very round product. Via Cadmus.

Super does not seem to stop with their quality collaborations. We have seen them work recently with Barneys New York, VNGRD from Italy and the next interesting collaboration to come up that we spotted at Bread & Butter today, has been done with designer duo PAM, Perks And Mini. They worked on two sunglasses and took the classic Super Wayfarer model as a base. In true PAM fashion both glasses sport a wild design on the upper and a solid colorway on the inside.

Expect these to release in the coming months.

Finally, we see an official picture of one of the sneakers from the Kanye West and Louis Vuitton collaboration. The sneaker comes in all red with a simple form, but it features a special quilted flap on the back heel for your jeans. Check out the press release below:

Kanye West, who was sitting front row at the Vuitton show, has designed a line of five LV sneakers. Only one design, above, was featured in the show — a monochromatic midtop with no frills, save for a quilted flap in the back, all the easier to tuck pants into. “The inspiration came from a jacket with a huge collar in the movie ‘Dune,’ ” West says. “Most sneakers focus on the tongue, so I wanted to do something different.” West knows whereof he speaks: he says he has no idea how many shoes he owns, but he does know that he routinely needs to send shipments off to storage. The LV-meets-Kanye kicks will be available at Louis Vuitton stores in June.

Brooklyn-based Eric Elms is making early headlines in the new year with an interesting collaboration alongside Vans. The heralded artist has designed a pack of kicks along with two t-shirt designs for the famous California based footwear company. Two models feature what looks to be either suede or velvet uppers with a third pair coming in a black canvas colorway in a new hybrid sneaker of sorts. This week Louis Vuitton will be celebrating the launch of the Stephen Sprouse collection in their Soho flagship store. For the occasion the store will be entirely wrapped in Stephen Sprouse graffiti and among the special items to release is also the above skateboard.

“For instance, the company is wrapping the store in vinyl and spray painting neon graffiti all over the facade. The window display will feature a 6-foot neon light installation in Sprouse’s Rose motif. The store’s interior, enhanced with black brick wall facing, will also be sprayed with the neon graffiti.

The collection will launch in its entirety at the SoHo boutique on Thursday. The complete worldwide launch will follow on Feb. 2, though the Rose pieces will be available at Louis Vuitton stores worldwide starting Friday.

For the launch, the luxury goods company is also creating two limited edition pieces, which will only be available at the SoHo location: a Stephen Sprouse graffiti skateboard replete with a hard case monogram skateboard trunk, and a Stephen Sprouse “Roses” T-shirt. The company hopes to sell three graffiti skateboards with trunks for $8,250 each, and 70 T-shirts for $250 each. “I don’t expect them to last very long,” Lalonde said. “By Friday, there probably won’t be any more left.” “Via WWD.

The price tag of the skateboard is definitely pretty high, but it is a great collectors item.

A coroner’s report released on Friday reveals that Dr. Dre’s son, Andre Young Jr. died from an overdose of heroin and morphine on August 23. He was 20. The coroner ruled his death as accidental and says the case is closed.

According to reports, Young returned home from hanging out with friends that night and his mother, Jenita Porter, recalled hearing him snoring around 5:30 a.m.

When she checked on him in his room around 10 a.m., she found him unresponsive and called 911. Paramedics pronounced him dead at their Woodland Hills, California home.

The history of the Puma Clyde dates back to around 1973, when New York Knicks player Walt Frazier asked Puma for a wider fit of their suede basketball shoes. Puma decided to sign and endorse Frazier. Soon after that, Frazier had his nickname of “Clyde” imprinted on every pair of the suede Puma’s. Frazier received his nickname from Bonnie & Clyde, the very dapper and sly pair of criminals. With his ability to dress so nicely and to steal the ball on the court all day, the nickname only seemed fitting. There are only a few shoes that can qualify as a classic, and the Puma Clyde is surely one of them. Puma continues the legacy with their latest collaboration with mita sneakers of Japan, the Puma MITA Clyde. The MITA Clyde’s are made in Japan, and will only be sold at mita sneakers. With only 185 pairs being produced, they will be released on January 2nd for 18,900 yen (approx. $208 USD).

With Chinese New Year featured as one of 2009’s widely celebrated holidays and occasions, the Nike 1World campaign looks to Hong Kong-based CLOT to offer their style and creativity on the AF1. The Air Force 1 is themed around traditional themes of luck, happiness and prosperity. As a throwback to China’s roots, the shoe’s upper is comprised of a subtly patterned CLOT Royale red silk with visible Air unit and black highlights. However, the most interesting point of this shoe is a highly customizable factor which includes a top layer which can be removed via burning and cutting to reveal a second leather layer which also features the similar graphics as seen on the silk layer. The tear-away concept was put to use as CLOT’s own philosophy of going beyond the superficial to find deeper meanings. Keeping with the Chinese New Year theme, the shoe will come with a “Chinese Candy Box”, a traditional method of packaging treats during this monumental yearly occasion. As with previous 1World release schemes, the CLOT x Nike 1World Air Force 1 will be limited only to a Hong Kong release.

In case you do not know Daniel Wu, he was discovered by Jackie Chan in the late 90’s and has since become one of the most celebrated actors in Asia.

The capsule collection created in collaboration with the actor consists of pants, as well as a tracktop and some shirts. At first the pieces look very subtle, yet they come with some nice twists and lots of attention to detail.
